Overview
This policy explains how Worldsown processes information when you visit the website, play the game, communicate with other players, or contact the project. “Worldsown,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of worldsown.com. You can contact the operator through the contact form.
Information collected
Website and analytics data
Google Analytics loads on every page in Consent Mode. Without consent, it sends cookieless measurements while Analytics storage and cookies remain denied. If you accept analytics, Google may use Analytics storage and cookies to measure pages visited, approximate location derived from an IP address, device and browser information, referral sources, session events, and engagement.
Game and account data
The game creates a browser-based character identity and may store a character name, world seed, settings, inventory, equipment, currency, quest progress, placed shared objects, and multiplayer state. Some preferences and solo progress are stored in your browser. Shared-world information is transmitted to the Worldsown backend so it can persist and be synchronized with other players.
Communications
Chat messages are transmitted to provide multiplayer chat. Feedback submissions can include a name, message, page address, and game name. Website contact submissions may also include an optional reply email and subject. Bug reports can include a title, description, screenshot, player name, page address, browser information, and generated report identifier.
How information is used
- To operate, synchronize, secure, and improve the game.
- To remember settings and restore player progress.
- To deliver multiplayer chat and shared-world interactions.
- To investigate bugs, respond to messages, and act on feedback.
- To understand site performance and which guides are useful.
- To prevent abuse, protect service availability, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosure
Worldsown uses infrastructure and content-delivery services provided by Amazon Web Services and analytics services provided by Google. These providers process information under their own service terms and privacy commitments. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a future transfer of the project where appropriate safeguards apply.
Worldsown does not sell personal information. Information submitted through contact or bug-report forms is not used for unrelated marketing.
Advertising and Google
When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to Worldsown and other sites.
Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Where consent is legally required, advertising technologies will remain disabled until the certified consent interface records your choice.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain shared-world state, investigate reports, respond to requests, and meet legal or security obligations. Browser storage remains on your device until it is cleared. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but Worldsown limits backend access and uses encrypted HTTPS connections for website and API traffic.
Your choices and rights
You can decline optional analytics when first visiting, reopen Privacy choices on any page to change that decision, clear Worldsown browser data through your browser settings, and stop using the multiplayer service. Withdrawing analytics consent removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and returns measurement to cookieless Consent Mode. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information.
Submit privacy requests through the contact form with “Privacy request” selected. Enough information may be requested to verify that the relevant data belongs to you.
Children
Worldsown is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children who cannot legally consent to its processing. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information should use the contact form to request review and removal.
Changes
This policy may change as the game and its services evolve. Material updates will be published on this page with a revised date.
