Acceptance
These terms govern use of the Worldsown website, game, guides, and online services. By accessing or using Worldsown, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Worldsown is an evolving browser-based survival game offered without charge in its current form. Features, worlds, balance, availability, stored progress, and multiplayer behavior may change during development. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security work, provider outages, or changes to the project.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or deliberately disrupt other players.
- Use chat or submitted content for unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, or abusive material.
- Attempt to bypass authorization, obtain another player’s data, probe private infrastructure, or interfere with service operation.
- Automate abusive traffic, exploit defects to damage shared worlds, or distribute malicious software through the service.
- Use Worldsown in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
Access may be limited or blocked when reasonably necessary to protect players, infrastructure, or the integrity of shared worlds.
Your content
You retain rights you hold in feedback, messages, screenshots, and other material you submit. You grant Worldsown permission to process that material as needed to operate the service, deliver it to intended recipients, investigate reports, improve the game, and respond to your request. Do not submit material you do not have the right to share.
Feedback and suggestions may be used to improve Worldsown without an obligation to compensate you.
Game identity and progress
A character identity may be generated and stored by your browser. You are responsible for controlling access to your browser profile and device. Clearing storage, using private browsing, changing devices, software defects, service changes, or enforcement action may affect access to identity or progress. Do not treat in-game items, currency, or progress as having monetary value.
Intellectual property
The Worldsown name, game code, visual design, text, original artwork, and other project materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms allow personal access to the service; they do not transfer ownership or grant permission to republish, sell, reverse engineer where prohibited, or create misleading copies of the service.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. Worldsown does not promise uninterrupted operation, preservation of progress, absence of defects, or suitability for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as Worldsown changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form.
