Planning notes
The chestplate is the strongest current armor piece at 5 armor and the reward for defeating the dire lion. It marks completion of the present armor quest chain rather than preparation for that final fight; earlier pieces must carry the player through the trial.
Use the chest slot at the armor stand to equip it. Combined with the other earned pieces, it provides the most complete current protection for later exploration, pack encounters, and repeat hunts beyond the sanctuary stones.
