Every account begins with its backpack equipped. It is bound to the character and cannot be discarded, traded, or placed in shared storage, ensuring personal inventory access cannot be lost through an accidental transfer.
The back slot is also used by the jetpack. Equipping flight gear therefore replaces the backpack rather than stacking both benefits at once. Organize carried materials and nearby storage before switching equipment for a long flight.
