Planning notes
A campfire is a portable survival station built from three sticks, one charcoal, and three stone. Place it where the ground supports a useful rest point, then use its heat to resist cold and its flame to cook raw meat.
Its recipe consumes more processed material than any early hand tool, so gather the full wood and rock chain before opening the bench. Carrying one into cold or distant terrain is often worth more than carrying several emergency meals because it supports repeated cooking and warming stops.
