The base currency paid by Trader Hesk. Ten berries, logs, rocks, or raw cuts sell for one copper, and all prices are calculated in copper.
How to get it
- TradeSell resources to Trader Hesk; the purse displays its copper total in all three denominations.
What it is used for
Pays and records all trade value; silver and gold are display denominations of this total.
It is not currently consumed by a recipe or quest objective.
Planning notes
Copper is the base unit behind every purse display. Trader Hesk pays one copper for each lot of ten berries, wood, rock, or raw meat, so a full silver represents many deliberate gathering or hunting sales.
Before selling, compare the stack with upcoming quest and crafting needs. Currency remains in the purse automatically, while a sold resource no longer supports food, tools, fuel, or materials. Silver and gold simply summarize larger copper totals.
