The first aid kit is the top of the healing chain: nine bandages, twenty-seven patches, and ultimately 162 fur. Filling every workbench cell makes the investment visible. Build it as long-term preparation rather than a response to one routine injury.
Its recovery can rescue a nearly fatal encounter, which makes it appropriate for the final dire hunts or remote expeditions with no easy retreat. Keep cheaper healing available for smaller wounds so the kit is not consumed when a patch or bandage would have been enough.
