How to craft it
Open the workbench in the Haven, choose Recipes, and select Stone to lay out the pattern. You can also place the ingredients by hand anywhere in the 3×3 grid; the shape matters, but its position does not.
When to make it
Knap raw rock before making a weapon, tool, or campfire. One rock returns two stone, exactly matching the head of a stone sword. Two rocks provide four stone, enough for an axe with one useful piece left over.
Stone and gravel use the same raw resource but follow different patterns and cannot be converted into one another. Choose the output deliberately. During early progression, usable stone normally offers more immediate value than aggregate.
