Prised out of the ground.
Planning notes
Raw rock has two workbench paths: a single piece becomes two stone, while a horizontal pair becomes three gravel. Stone feeds weapons, tools, campfires, and advanced equipment, so converting rock to gravel too early can delay more practical goals.
Loose deposits are worth collecting whenever pack space allows. A stone sword needs only one processed rock plus a stick chain, making rock one half of the shortest route to competent hunting. Hesk buys stacks of ten, but crafted stone generally carries more immediate survival value.
