Planning notes
A bed combines three wool with three planks, so its apparent six-item pattern hides a long fur requirement. Build the wool supply gradually rather than delaying every healing recipe for one large craft. The frame itself needs only one log’s worth of boards.
Place the bed on level ground and use it after dark. In multiplayer, night advances when the sleepers are ready, so choose a camp that companions can reach safely. A bed changes the night schedule but does not replace food, warmth, or a defensible route.
