How it behaves
It notices players within 32 metres, attacks at close range for 12 damage, and pursues until the target escapes its territory.
Hunting notes
Watch the attack wind-up, step outside its reach, and return a strike during recovery. Armor reduces the cost of a mistake, but movement decides the fight.
Preparation and rewards
A single wolf is less durable than the largest predators, but wolves commonly travel in groups of two to four. Their 9.2 m/s speed lets the pack surround a player who focuses on only one target. Back toward clear terrain, keep the group in view, and finish weakened wolves to reduce incoming attacks quickly. Their very high fur chance makes a controlled pack encounter valuable for patches, wool, and other fur-heavy recipes.
