How to craft it
Open the workbench in the Haven, choose Recipes, and select Stone Sword to lay out the pattern. You can also place the ingredients by hand anywhere in the 3×3 grid; the shape matters, but its position does not.
When to make it
The stone sword should usually be the first completed weapon. One raw rock can become its two-stone blade, while half a stick batch supplies the handle. Keeper Aldis expects this preparation before sending the player toward the dire wolf.
Crafting it early also improves ordinary hunting because passive animals flee after the first strike. Better damage shortens the chase and preserves energy. The sword remains useful throughout the armor chain, but healing and movement still decide difficult encounters.
