Planning notes
Sticks connect the timber chain to almost every early tool. A batch of four is enough to begin several small recipes, but the stone axe consumes two and the campfire consumes three. Plan the whole workbench visit before deciding that one batch is sufficient.
Because sticks are made from planks, their true cost begins with wood gathered outside the Haven. Keep them for tools, light, and heat before treating them as spare material. A stone sword is the usual first priority because it makes the hunting and armor progression much safer.
