Flat boards split from a log. Planks become sticks and form the structure of boats and beds.
How to get it
- CraftMake it at the workbench using the Planks recipe.
What it is used for
Flat boards, split from a log.
Planning notes
Each log produces four planks, so one crafting action supplies more than a single board. Planks are both a finished structural ingredient and the source of sticks. Count direct plank costs for a boat or bed before feeding the remainder into the next recipe.
The stick recipe consumes two vertically stacked planks and returns four sticks. That yield makes bulk processing efficient, but keeping unprocessed planks avoids another gathering trip when a large construction becomes the next objective.
